Shea`s Cafe & Bakery in Galloway

First time at this restaurant. They have an exceptional breakfast. I had the Crab Benedict with home fries. The pancakes look marvelous and all the portions are huge. If you are with a group they will only accept 1 credit card per table and they do not have a ATM.

I started writing this review before Courtney finished taking our order. She was amazingly nice and accommodating!!! The food was great reasonably priced but there are no prices on the menu for certain items. I would definitely return if ever in the area and I highly recommend Shae's Cafe🖤

Food is as good as it always is but the new staff they have in there is not even a resemblance of what it was. Was told I was going to get extra placemats three times, didn't get to order our drinks till the waitress came for our food order, didn't get told the credit card machine was down till the food came out, and didn't get a coffee refill in the 45 min we were there. Service B- Food A+. Love him or hate him, Lou ran a tight ship.

This casual style, family oriented cafe brings a five-star brunch to your table. The wait time can be off the charts! You can wait zero to five minutes on one day and forty to sixty minutes on another day. It all depends on the day. They do allow call-in reservations, but tend to not answer their calls. The seating is at my comfort standards. The space in their open concept layout gives each and every customer enough room to feel relaxed. The staff treat you like family. If you are a regular, they ask you if you want your usual. The owner Wendy will make sure that each and every customer will get a warm welcome and make sure you are always satisfied. At times, the cleanliness can be a tad dirty. Once in a while, I see some wrappers and food on the floor. I usually request a cup of soup and a turkey sandwich. I can’t ask for anything better. For prices, I would give it a $$, but the prices are totally worth it with its amount and quality.

Best breakfast place in South Jersey. I had their strawberry shortcake pancake for the first time and it was to die for. I love the new location and the fact that they have more seating. Same great place same great people I would recommend everyone to go there!

Fantastic breakfast, some different items on menu. Food was hot and well prepared. Service excellent.

I would give this place a 5 but we had to wait to be seated, and then we waited an hour for our food. The server was excellent, the food superb, but waiting and hour for breakfast food was ridiculous. Our server told us two kitchen helpers phoned out for the day which made them short on help for meal prep. Another server told us that they have a small grill in the kitchen so pancake orders back up the meals. Cute place, clean and friendly servers. Also if you are a lite eater this place is not for you. Meals were ginormous and alot of the pancake orders were full of whipped cream. I normally can put down a big breakfast, I am taking half of it home. I recommend it, but prepare to wait for your food, and be extremely hungry.

We had coffee, Western omelette, chipped beef, eggs; all of which was very good. What we didn't like was the 25 minute wait to be seated and a half hour wait to get our food. It's great to have a thriving restaurant however it shouldn't be at the detriment of getting customers in and out expeditiously. Please find a better way to run the kitchen

The most excellent pancakes ever, they cooked our food exactly to order. The staff is super friendly and that made the experience even more great. I recommend you eat here!!!!!! You can actually believe the reviews all TRUE. The best breakfast I've had!!

Perfect breakfast decision! We stopped by here for breakfast and it did not disappoint. Everyone was super nice and the food was fantastic. The cinnamon swirl french toast was amazing!

The place is clean, quiet even when crowded, and the food is great. The pancakes are massive so I recommend the short stack or silver dollar size! But wow I got the pumpkin cheesecake pancakes and they were delicious!!! And they actually put the cream cheese between the pancakes and not just on top which is ten times better. Plus, the whipped cream appears to be home made and it's so so good. All I have to say is: "IHOP who???"

Wow! Amazed by the atmosphere and service at this cozy breakfast restaurant. The 5 star breakfast is truly 5 stars!!

This was my first time here and OMG the food is soooo delicious!! The service is awesome! Every last employee was so pleasant!!

Typically a long wait, but it's worth the wait. We took a walk to check out the lake near by to kill some time (we murderers bc we kill time). The servers are very nice and take care of you.

The wait is kind of long, but the food is amazing. They have some of the best pancakes and home fries I've ever had.

First I must say the food is amazing. Dont be discouraged by the wait time. When we arrived were told it was 40 minute wait which turned into 1 hour 5 minute wait. Despite the wait the atmosphere wasn't restaurant like more like a banquet feel. Which was nice. The host was very welcoming and accommodating . He was definitely full or personality and tried to make everyone's experience enjoyable. The menu had a vast array of items to choose from all very descriptive making it hard to choose just one. The food was beautifully displayed and taste even better than it looked. You won't be disappointed.

I’m giving this place five stars because I went to treat my friend and he absolutely loved it. I’ve been before and also enjoyed it. This was my second visit. I ordered an omelette. He had the strawberry shortcake pancakes. Food was delicious to say the least. Service was great and friendly staff. I would recommend this place to all my friends and family. I would recommend their best selling pancakes, I can’t remember the name but it involves cinnamon. Lol Homefries were good also and I hate homefries lol You’ll enjoy this place trust me.

Stopped yesterday on my way home from the doctor's. Quaint out of the way. Nice breakfast, reasonably priced. Fast and friendly service. Delicious bagels.

The owner is one of the nicest guys you'll meet always greeting and speaking with all the customers. The wait staff are also very attentive. And as for breakfast foods, it's easily one of the best places in Jersey or even the east coast. They should feature this place on a food show. If you're driving through, you need to come here. Just expect a good, long, necessary wait, if it's a weekend.

Still a great spot for breakfast when near Atlantic City even after they moved to a new better location. Portions r big. Pancakes r my fav. French toasts r good also. Staff.. always amazing 👍🏼

I come to this place about once a month ,sometimes more! Food is great every time! There's usually a wait to get sat but it's definitely worth the wait.

This place was recommended by a friend and she was so right. All that we ordered were all demolished so to speak. Their strawberry cheesecake pancake was so yummy! The long line really speaks for it. But I can say the wait is really worth it. All the staff are friendly & helpful!

Had my breakfast here. I had Western omelet and my wife order their famous crabmeat omelet. It's very delicious and solid quantity to stuff your stomach. The service was prompt and friendly. The price is inexpensive. The only thing - coffee was a bit too light.... A good place for breakfast!!

We eated in this little place for our breakfast. We ordered a omelette and a pancake.Omelette was pretty good and no so fat. Contrariwise, pancake was really too sweet.I found that the service wasn't very good ; the waitress was very urgent and looked falsely friendly.Value for money is pleasant (20$ for two bigs plates and with unlimited drinks)

A love this place. This is my favorite breakfast food place in the area. They have a large menu for specialty crafted eggs benedicts, french toast, and very large pancakes. The food is awesome and highly suggest coming here. My only complaint, because of the popularity and small size of the place: Come early or expect to wait upwards 30+ min for a table. Not really suited for large groups.

Great food, long wait. You won't leave hungry, that's for sure. Be prepared to wait a while to be seated, there is always a line.

This is a must if your in the Atlantic city area. This is a breakfast lover's dream. All natural fresh ingredients. Soon as we sat down a young man came in and had my wallet I had unknowingly dropped in the parking lot. Good people good food...you Won't be disappointed. I learned there are still good people in the world today...I need to lighten up a bit

The service and the food is outstanding. Make sure that you are wearing comfortable clothing because the portions of the food are going to definitely fill you up. After eating all that you are going to want to do is take a nap. Nothing but love 😋

My husband and I love going for breakfast. He usually get the pancakes (short stack) and I love getting the omelet.

We were vacationing in the area and planned to go to Shea’s for breakfast before starting our day. We got up early and drove there during their posted open hours only to find that the place was closed. I checked their website again to see if I made a mistake but it said they were open and that this was one of their busiest times. I checked their facebook page for an explanation and nothing. I understand family emergencies and things can happen but they could have at least posted about it on facebook. We would have seen they were closed before we left and saved ourselves the trip. Now we’re driving around looking for some place else to eat. We’re on a tight schedule today so we had to scramble to find another place quick.

Simply THE BEST! Our favorite breakfast place! Traveled hundreds of miles to go for breakfast here on my 50th birthday! Thank you Shea's for making my birthday so special!

The only thing keeping this place from five stars is the up charging of everything on the menu. For example whipped cream on pancakes, cheese in an omelette, (the waitress ask you if you want these things but don' t tell you there is an upcharge.) after all omelettes without cheese is just scrambled eggs. No prices on the specialty pancakes and french toast, ( don't know what the big secret is ) When I asked the waitress, she told me every price is different. So I guess you have to ask them for the price of each particular pancake? Don't get the pancakes (or plan to take some home) if you aren't hungry, as a big eater like myself I left half my pancakes behind.

Great meal, great value, superior service

My first time there. I always drove past it but never stopped. I was like a baby with a brand new toy! 😛 The food is Sinfully Delicious! The servicers' Personalities and service is awesome! They open early and close early by 3:00 p.m. ENJOY! 👌

Great food, the wait was worth it. Everything is made to order so it will take some time. The only thing I didn't like was the rules they had such as one check per table or $3 charge if you were sharing your food etc. So if you're going with friends make sure someone is designated payer but great for families!
